The Otters are excited to announce an ongoing partnership with the TOPSoccer program in Johnson City. TOPSoccer works to provide soccer opportunities to special needs athletes in the region at no cost. With plenty of changes going into the 2021 season, the Otters will see continuity and familiar faces in their coaching staff. The 2021 season is drawing closer and with it comes the return of the much-loved Adopt an Otter program. In the first year of the program in 2019, the Otters saw all 35 players adopted and won Best New Revenue-Generating Idea from the league. The goal of the program is to strengthen the bond between our players and the community that extends beyond the lines on the field. This weekend will mark the first coaching clinic that the Otters will host as a part of their partnership with TN Soccer. The Otters will serve as a regional host for the United States Soccer Federation’s Grassroots Coaching programs ranging from 4-v-4 all the way to full-sided, 11-v-11 programs. Sessions will be overseen by Tennessee Coaching Education Leadership. All attendees will receive an Otters notebook, and details about future events will be released once finalized.

The Otters will hold their annual youth camp June 21–24 this summer. This will be the fifth year that the Otters have hosted a youth camp. Attendees will be able to receive instruction from the Otters coaching staff and many of your 2021 Otters! Camp is open to players of all genders and skillsets, and registration is now open HERE!

Otter Soccer will host their first-ever golf tournament on Saturday, April 17th at Pine Oaks Golf Course. The day will follow a traditional tournament format beginning at 9 AM and feature prizes and other competitions throughout the day. All proceeds will go towards sponsoring kids in soccer in our area. The Otters will host their only tryout for the 2021 USL League Two season on January 16th locally in Johnson City. The combine is open to all soccer players in the region 16 years and older.
