First Otter Soccer Golf Tournament to Be Held at Pine Oaks April 17th

Otter Soccer will host their first-ever golf tournament on Saturday, April 17th at Pine Oaks Golf Course. The day will follow a traditional tournament format beginning at 9 AM and feature prizes and other competitions throughout the day. All proceeds will go towards sponsoring kids in soccer in our area. “We are super excited to host this golf tournament. I believe this is something our community needs at this time,” said Otters President David Strickland.

“The funds raised in the tournament will be used to help cover expenses for soccer players in our area. The kids will range in age from 15–24 years old. We will also be working with TOP Soccer to bring soccer to the special needs kids in our region. Come join us for a day on the links and making an impact on kids lives in our region,” continued Strickland.

Breakfast and lunch, as well as water, soda, and beer will be included as part of your registration. Teams will follow a scramble format, playing from the best ball on each stroke. There will be 100 total spots available for golfers. There is no age-limit for participants and registration can be done in teams of four as an individual. The cost is $400 for a team or $100 per golfer.
