Otters to Hold Combine January 16th for 2021 Season

The Otters will host their only tryout for the 2021 USL League Two season on January 16th locally in Johnson City. The combine is open to all soccer players in the region 16 years and older. The cost to participate is $50 and includes a shirt. Registration can be done here for cash/Venmo payment or here for card payments.

“We look forward to this event every year,” says GM Lucas Christiansen on the combine. “The coaching staff and I try to cast as wide a net as possible when putting together the roster but there are always players that get by us in the scouting process, so this is always a great opportunity to find a hidden gem or three.”

Check-in will begin at 8:30 AM and the combine will begin at 9:30. Skill evaluation will take place in the morning and the afternoon session will consist of a full-sided scrimmage.

This will be the only tryout for the Otters 2021 USL League Two team. The Otters have historically found some of their most impactful players through open tryouts including captains Dion Stergiotis and George Stanley, and USL League Two champion Ayuk Tambe.
